Lori Carlson has been leading worship since the age of 13, first discovering her love for God's presence around the piano with her family at home. What began in a living room has grown into a lifelong calling to lead others in authentic, heartfelt worship marked by sincerity, depth, and joy.
She served for nine years as Worship Director at a church in Nashville, helping cultivate a culture of passionate praise and Spirit-led gatherings. Over the years, she has led worship at churches, women's conferences, retreats, prayer gatherings, and regional events across the United States and internationally, including South Korea, England, and Ireland. Lori has also hosted worship retreats and workshops, equipping worship leaders and teams with confidence, practical tools, and a deeper sense of calling — helping them lead with authenticity and freedom.
A Nashville-based vocalist, Lori was a lead singer for The Praise Baby Collection series and has recorded background vocals for artists including Taylor Swift, Brett James, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Kathryn Scott. Her heart, however, remains rooted in the local church — creating space for people to encounter God in a personal and powerful way.
Lori currently serves at her home church and regularly guests as a worship leader for Sunday services, women's conferences, retreats, prayer gatherings, and special events. Whether leading a small, intimate room or a large gathering, her desire is the same: to help people connect deeply with God and respond to Him freely in worship.
I have been continually led deep into the heart of God by her.
She holds space beautifully by creating an atmosphere where people feel safe to encounter God.
